The Sun, The Moon, and Salena will be performed as part of as part of New Light Theater Project's Darkroom Series 15 in the Gallery Space at Access Theater at 380 Broadway NY NY. Thursday, January 18 and Friday, January 19, 2018 at 8 PM 

The Sun, The Moon, and Salena tells the story of the love of the Sun, the Moon, and their daughter, Salena. And of the treacherous, predatory Ocean. And the budding love of drama students Jennifer and John as they create Salena's story.

When the Levee Breaks (10 minutes) will be performed as part of Café Nostra at at the Bellefonte Cafe in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Sun, The Moon, and Salena was performed with dance and parkour as part of Heel's Over Head at IO Chicago in October 2017.

Goodnight Moon-doggie was produced as part of Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble's Full Circle Festival on October 14 and 21, 2016: The queen mother of serenity encounters the irrepressible prince of energy. Can this bedtime be saved?

Skin for Skin was produced in March - April 2017 with The Agency Collective, choreographed by Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble and Actors Gymnasium, directed by Mike Menendian. 

La Maestra received a staged reading with music and dance in June 2016 at Chicago DanzTheatre Ensemble and will be produced as part of the 2017 - 2018 season. La Maestra tells the story of Artemisia Gentileschi, a brilliant Baroque artist. And Jennifer Hartnett, a lovely and talented modern drama student. And Judith - the Biblical righter of wrongs. And there are definitely wrongs to be righted in these stories. 

When the Levee Breaks (10-minutes) was produced at The Secret Theatre in Queens, New York, in February, 2016. It was selected as a finalist and will be published by The Secret Theatre.

Anna O., the story of Bertha Pappenheim - very arguably the cofounder of psychoanalysis - received a staged reading with the Agency Collective in March, 2016 and with Chicago Writers Bloc in June 2016. 

La Maestra received a staged reading with Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble in June 2016. Five directors and sixteen performers - actors, dancers, singers, and musicians - brilliantly portraying the lives of modern drama student Jennifer Hartnett, Baroque painter Artemisia Gentileschi, and Biblical Judith.

I performed Wanna See a Dead Rat , a collection of autobiographical stories, as part of Filet of Solo with the GenNarrations Project of Goodman Theatre in January 2016, at Lifeline Theatre

"Neuropsychology, Creativity, and Storytelling" was presented at the Steel Pen Creative Writers' Conference on October 10, 2015, in Merrillville, Indiana.

Cue Christmas Goose was produced as part of Holiday Stories at Three Cat Productions in Dec-Jan, 2015.

Anna O., the story of the birth of psychoanalysis (Freud is merely a footnote) received a staged-reading with The Agency Collective in January 2016 and a table reading with Writers Bloc in June 2016.


I read a short piece, Deception, at Goodman Theatre Monday, June 8th at 4 pm as part of GenNarrations.

I performed the role of Roy in Barbara Lindsay's Canyon's Edge at Something Marvelous' Night of New Works, June 2-6.

I read two short stories, Sonuvagun and The Flight of the Little Lost Boys at What's the Story?, a fundraiser for Death and Pretzels on June 12, 2015 at 7 pm.

Remote received for a workshop and staged reading with Three Cat Productions on June 27, 2015.

Skin for Skin received a workshop and a public reading with The Agency Theater Collective on July 11, 2015.


I directed (don't laugh) Hope Hommersand's excellent new play, Why Good Things Happen to Bad People, at the Piven Theatre, 927 Noyes St., Evanston on May 18th at 8 pm, with the superb cast of Erika Napoletano, Cat Hermes, Sarah Bickel, Ben Schlotfelt, and John Scavone.
